The Baltimore Orioles suspended their on-air announcer indefinitely (still suspended as of almost three weeks later) for reading the facts that were on the screen. The upshot of his "commentary": the Orioles used to suck at Tampa Bay but they're winning there this season. Okay....so....this is "offensive"...to somebody?
Facts don't matter, apparently. (Hmmmm....I was trying to come up with some contra of "facts don't care about your feelings" but actually the facts here feel pretty good for the typical Orioles fan, so....what are we doing here?) Suspended indefinitely for reading the stats that were handed to him....what is going on? Why is this happening? Does punishment get more capricious than this?
